Hello Kitty Birthday.....

I just finished this card for a commission so I thought I'd  post it in case I forget later on. It's very glittery and lots of bling too as it's for a 3 year old......
I used Go Kreate heart #1 dies and I Googled the image. Number 3 Sizzix bigz die, flowers, bling and ribbon from my stash, papers I've had for years and I used white glittered card for the base and the die cuts. A little bit of Ric Rac and a HK keyring from a pkt that you would buy for a party bag. I will definitely buy these again in all sorts of characters they're really great for kids cards. I've also made it detachable so it can be attached to a zip or a bag, kids love them.
I did a card last year for the same little girl with Dora The Explorer and she loved it and her Gran asked if I could do Hello Kitty for this one, fingers crossed she likes this one too.
Thanks for stopping by

Things with wings.@ Charisma plus a DT CALL

Hi !
My DT creation for this weeks challenge was made using one of my new Fairy stamps from Personal Impressions, Magic Happens. I stamped it onto smooth white card and distressed the edge with lilac Brilliance ink and mounted it on to Oval Nesties.
The butterfly is a Joy Craft die, flowers are a mix of WOC and Mulberry Crafts. I used purple Basil basic card and the papers are a digi download, but I can't find the source, sorry I've had it for years. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and I have added some black tulle and some bead spray.

Sweet Baby Boy...

I love this cute little image from DSB and I use him quite often on baby cards. You can find him HERE his name is Henry. I made this card for my friend Donna at work who had a little boy a couple of weeks ago and as you can see she named him Logan.
I used WOC metal corner, lots of Stickles on the image, Mei Flower ribbon and charm, the Works star buttons and Oval Nesties. The sentiment is from LOTV and the paper , brad and flower center are from my stash. I have also gathered  a little lace and put it beneath the flower.
My week off work is nearly over and I have really enjoyed it. Hubby and I got lots done in the house and garden (between showers) all the little unfinished jobs that never seem to get done.......sorted!! So we treated ourselves to a Chinese takeaway tonight for dinner ...very tasty !!
I still have some wallpapering to finish in our bedroom but that won't take me too long then we can relax over the weekend.
Thanks for your visit, have a lovely weekend!!

LOTV 70th Birthday

A closer view.........

Just finished this card tonight for an order and decided to post it while I not enough hours in the day this week, I've been flat out with work and card making and when I need my camera it decides to need a charge....then I dropped my lamp on my  foot....OUCH!! gonna have a bruise tomorrow....

Never mind only two more cards to go before Thursday, one is a Wedding card and the other a 50th Anniversary so I'll be posting them later in the week. I'm working from my dining room at the moment and it's hard going, I can't find a thing. I moved out of my craft room and had a massive throw out of old dated stuff. My Son is home for a while and is now occupying my craft room. So I've been relegated to the dining room which is also being occupied by most of his furniture. It's a tight squeeze but it won't be forever just until he manages to get his deposit together for a mortgage and his own place.

The recipe for the card...
LOTV image
Paper First Edition Boho Chic
Wild Orchid flowers
Whimsey Stamps corner die
Rafia Ribbon
Organza Ribbon
I also used a piece of the Memory box die Flowering Christmas tree, just snipped a piece off and used it to fill the top right corner. Very useful die!
Thanks for popping in I'm off to bed now, after I clear up the
