Charisma wk#49......Last Minute Makes....

It's getting close to Christmas now so at Charisma we would like to see your
It can be anything you like. As you can see I've made a table centre decoration. It's very simple to make.
Here's what to do. Make a cone shape from either acetate or card, I used silver Mirri card. Trim the bottom so that it sits even on the table. Take some narrow tinsel and wrap it round the tree starting at the top, gluing in place as you go. Add some Christmas Baubles and top off with a Star to finish. You can stand it in a nice plate or glass coaster and put a snow scene around it or just have it on it's own. Looking forward to seeing all your creations, I hope you have fun with our challenge this week. Our Charisma Gals have wonderful creations to share with you so why not pop over to the Challenge blog and leave them some Christmas cheer!!

Must dash now as I've still got decorating to finish...............

Hi !! From Snowy Scotland........

Well it's here again...........I woke up to 3 inches on snow this morning and there is more on the way according to the weather man on BBC. I love the stuff but it does get annoying when the transport is affected. Hubby managed to get out of the street this morning, slipping and sliding all the way up the hill, thank goodness I don't work Mondays !!!
I'm staying in all day..... still got decorating to finish and cards to make.
Here is one I made for an order last week. I love this LOTV image it's definitely my favourite this year. I coloured it with Copics and used Snow It glue and fine glitter for the snow. The papers are Me To You, Winter Wonderland. Roses and metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts, Marianne Creatables Heart and Poinsettia dies. Martha Stewart Holly Punch and the rest is form my stash.
The snow has made me feel quite Christmasy so I think I'll dig out the decorations and the tree, although I can't put any on it yet as I promised my Grandson's that they could do it, but I'll set it up and put the lights on.
Have a lovely day whatever you're doing....
Keep warm!!

My fav colour this Christmas.....

Morning everyone, it's Friday at last. Just popped on to share this card with you, I love these  Me to You papers and this Santa image from Just Ink Lined and I have made a load of cards with this combination this year. Again not a very good photo because of the light factor, I ever used my daylight lamp to photograph this but it didn't make much of a difference there's just no substitute for good old sunshine...lol
I'm just filling in time while I'm waiting for the engineer to come today to either fix my Fridge/freezer or confirm it dead.  The latter would suit me as this is the second time in 5 weeks I've had to throw out a freezer full of food....grrr.
Two nights ago we had a feast as everything was defrosting I cooked up all the meat and chicken and pizzas to use them up. Unfortunately there are only three people in this household and I couldn't store it in the fridge as it conked out that night too, so most of it went in the bin.  Ahh!! the joys....

*********************
Tomorrow William & I are off to a Wedding in Glasgow at the House for an Art Lover, for those of you who are not familiar with the venue it was designed by the famous Architect
Charles Rennie MacKintosh and is a favourite for Weddings. My Nephew was also Married here this year and we had a fabulous day. I Love MacKintosh designs and just soaked up the atmosphere the whole day long, so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Please please please let the sun shine...........
