Hi there, please bear with me this week as i'm doing this one handed. My right hand and arm are in plaster for the next 4 weeks due to an accident in the kitchen when some dinner plates fell onto my hand and it appears that i've broken the sciphoid bone. It's still very painfull but hopefully it will settle down soon. They have made my thumb rigid and I cant hold anything. Spent all of Monday between doctors an hospital now i'm off work for 4 weeks. Not too bad as i'll still have plenty of time when it comes off to get my Christmas cards done..i hope.
My card this week was put together with bits already done and just lying around.
The base card is from my Christmas box from last year along with the poinsettia.
The white card was punched out a couple of weeks ago when I bought the Martha Stewart punch around the page Christmas set from QVC......glad I had a we play with it now..lol so this is my something I've never done before. Just had a though I've never made a card one handed before either.
The image is a die cut called Rosie and Alfie Christmas from Kanban cards. Sorry about the simplicity of my card this week but I didn't want to let the Charisma team down by not doing anything for the challenge so it had to be simple as i'm struggling with one hand, I'll haveto teach my Son how to tie bows...lol.
Thanks for your visit today, happy crafting
I managed to find a challenge for this card
Secret Crafter Sat......Plain and Simple
Incy Wincy designs........Celebrate anything

Hi Vee,
ReplyDeleteThis card is so pretty. The punched borders are fabulous and the image is so cute.
You poor girl. It must be so frustrating to have so much time and not be able to do much. I will be thinking of you. I hope that the healing process is straightforward.
Very Special Hugs,
Fiona x
