Good morning everyone, this week at Charisma Cardz we would like to see all your CHRISTMAS makes.

THIS CHALLENGE WILL RUN FOR TWO WEEKS

For my DT card this week I have made another Acetate card. This time with mountain and valley folds for the base. The acetate is from Hunckeydory and has snowy dots all over. The image is of course from LOTV. Dies are snowflake from Tattered Lace, Christmas tree.. Marianne, and Spellbinders Stately Circles. Mirri card ribbon and charm are from my stash.
I've made quite a lot of these acetate cards for my Christmas orders this year and everyone seems to like them. They are fun to make, I'll show some of the others in the coming weeks.

I decided to join in team Gems challenge this week and I made a Shaker card.  The image is a kids colouing page reduced in size on Microsoft Publisher and coloured with Copics. I used Nitwit papers, MS snowflakes, star dies, and circle dies for the snowglobe. Inside is a mixture of white and silver glitter to give the appearance of snow when you shake it and I have added a row of snowballs at the bottom.
I hope you can find time to enter our Santa challenge this week.

CHARISMA...SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER DONE BEFORE...

Hi there, please bear with me this week as i'm doing this one handed. My right hand and arm are in plaster for the next 4 weeks due to an accident in the kitchen when some dinner plates fell onto my hand and it appears that i've broken the sciphoid bone. It's still very painfull but hopefully it will settle down soon. They have made my thumb rigid and I cant hold anything. Spent all of Monday between doctors an hospital now i'm off work for 4 weeks. Not too bad as i'll still have plenty of time when it comes off to get my Christmas cards done..i hope.

My card this week was put together with bits already done and just lying around.
The base card is from my Christmas box from last year along with the poinsettia.
The white card was punched out a couple of weeks ago when I bought the Martha Stewart punch around the page Christmas set from QVC......glad I had a we play with it now..lol so this is my something I've never done before. Just had a though I've never made a card one handed before either.
The image is a die cut called Rosie and Alfie Christmas from Kanban cards. Sorry about the simplicity of my card this week but I didn't want to let the Charisma team down by not doing anything for the challenge so it had to be simple as i'm struggling with one hand, I'll haveto teach my Son how to tie bows...lol.
Thanks for your visit today, happy crafting

I managed to find a challenge for this card

Secret Crafter Sat......Plain and Simple
Incy Wincy designs........Celebrate anything

Charisma this week Something with a Tail

Hi there, it's my turn to set the challenge at Charisma this week and I've chosen Something with a Tail. So an easy one for you ......The lovely Carly had to post the challenge for me as my Internet went down on Wednesday morning and has only came back on in the last hour. Typical... had to be the day I really needed it.....bloomin Virgin!!!!!
Anyway I hope you like my DT card for this one, the image is from The Digi Stamp Boutique, Millie singing Carols, isn't she cute...!! I coloured her with Copics and Promarkers.
Everything else I used is from my stash, paper was a freebie in a mag, holly from some Christmas stash from long ago, and the sentiment was from another Christmas pack from Lakelands.
Oval Nesties
CB Snowflake embossing folder

I really enjoyed making this card as I've never done this fold before. I got the inspiration from my friend Elaine she sent me a gorgeous Birthday card a couple of weeks ago using this fold, thanks Elaine. You can see the card here, she also made a lovely little gift box to match. Elaine's blog is well worth a visit if you haven't been before, her cards are fab.
Remember to pop over to Charisma and see the fab cards from our very talented Design Team.
Hope you enjoy the challenge I'm looking forward to seeing all your lovely creations this week.

POSH MILLY AT CHRISTMAS

Hi everyone just a quick card I made tonight for an order, I used Posh Milly as it's for a little girl 4 years old on Hogmanay, and she is to be a Train Bearer in the New year at a Wedding so I thought Milly was just perfect in her little party dress. The BP's were free in a mag( can't for the life of me remember which one..lol) Oh!! and it had to be PINK.....I put some lilac in to contrast it a bit.
Thanks for looking.

DEVOTION....

Hello everyone just one card tonight been really busy all day and still not finished all my cards. Got Kiddies tomorrow and then I'm off out for a Christmas dinner with my friends so no cards tomorrow either.
This one is for an order. The image is from Pollycraft and is called Devotion. I coloured it with ...yes you guessed .. my Copics. ( I love them to bits). I used my cb emb folder snowflakes ( used it loads this year) on to pearlised card and the large snowflake is cut with my Robo. The rest is from my stash. Thanks for popping in I know how busy everyone is at this time of the year and I really apreciate you taking the time to look.

Christmas gift wallets...

I made these ten wallets for an order. I embossed all of them with cb snowflakes. Printed the greeting on the computer and added various toppers. I used elastic metalic cord tied round to hold them shut... a bit different from the buttons and ribbon I usually use for these wallets, it also made it a bit quicker to make.

I will be doing my PIF at the end of the week sorry to take so long but I just didn't have the energy last week, so appologies for that. Be back later...

A few more Christmas cards...

These are for my friend Dorothy, and I'm pleased to say....... she loved them...Hopefully now I'm feeling a lot better I'll get on with all the rest I've still to do. The past 4 weeks have been terrible not being able to do much and falling behind with orders and all my Christmas preparations, so now I have to catch up .I put the tree up on Sunday but only put the decs on it yesterday...lol.. I'm getting there slow but sure. The house is looking a little bit more festive now so all I have to do is start getting some pressies in. Hope you like these and thanks for stopping by.

Hope you like it, the stamp is called Devotion it's bigger than this but I chopped their legs off to get the image in the frame. OOOPS!! POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE....

Hi everyone hope you are all having a lovely weekend. This is my take on the Pollycraft sketch and challenge.http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ You have to use at least one Pollycraft element in your design. They are also looking for a new DT member with this challenge. If you would like to be considered just combine the sketch and a Pollycraft design be it a download, backing paper, or stamped image the choice is yours and let them know in your comment that you are interested. Pop along and have a wee browse through the DT cards on show, they are all so different. I have used a download and papers. I also used punched snowflakes and added red buttons, and a felt holly. The sentiment is a stamp from the Anita range. The image is Wilbur Woof for Winter isn't he sooo cute....Within the download you get the coloured images and also images to colour yourself. He has a little friend called Albert also a download . I'll have a card with Albert later on to show you... Thanks for popping in.
