Hi there, in case you were wondering what happened to our Challenge today...... the lovely Carly had problems accessing Blogger and was unable to set this weeks Charisma challenge. Unfortunately I did no know until tea time and didn't manage to do the post 'till 6.30 pm, so apologies if you were trying to take part this week. Silver Anniversary..

Hello again ! I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

 Today I have a Silver Anniversary card to share with you and I have used die cuts for the decoration. The dies are as follows...Sizzix Goblets and Large Numbers. Go Kreate large hearts and a flourish from Marianne Creatables. Inside I have used Majestic Labels 25 from Spellbinders, love this set of dies they are a great size and so versatile. The gorgeous paper is from Sandylion and is called Roses-foil.

 What a week....I've been chasing my tail since last Thursday and getting nowhere fast. I started a new job in a completely different office and doing work I've never done before (Staff shuffle) so I have to start training all over again. It's quite daunting at my age having to learn new things and even harder after being 10 years in the same job. It's going to take a while to be trained up all the aspect of the job so I'm just taking every day as it comes. Wish me luck...

Parisian Dreams....

Good morning ! Today's card has a Parisian theme to it and was made for a 50th Birthday for a lady who loves Celine Deon and is going to see her later in the year at Paris. I decided on an easel card for this one so that I could put the photos inside. 

Materials used for this one were papers Parisian dreams free with Quick cards magazine. Spellbinders decorative labels 8, Spellbinders Majestic Elements, Memory Box Vivian Butterfly die. Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and lace and pearls from my stash.

Above is a pic of the inside of the card.  I'm pleased to say the lady who ordered it for her friends Birthday was absolutely delighted with it.

Make it Crafty...A new Parish card........

Hello again, I forgot to post this card last week so here it is....better late than never as they say.

A few weeks ago I was asked to make a couple of cards for a Priest. Two were birthday cards and this one for moving to a new Parish all for the same Priest, making it more of a challenge as each one had to be completely different. Unfortunately in my haste to pass the cards on I forgot to photograph the other two birthday ones...one was a football card in his favourite teams colours and the other I made with a sketch of praying hands.  My friend who ordered them was extremely pleased with them.

 Always nice to know people like what I create for them. : )

The image on this card is from Make it Crafty and is called Wedding Church and was just perfect for my card. It has been coloured with Copics and Promarkers. I made a side step card from A4 card stock and  used papers from LOTV and Raspberry Road Designs Pad  called Beach Bliss. I absolutely love these papers and I'm sure I will be ordering more very soon. I used Spellbinders A2 Distressed edges dies and added some twine through the Rafia Lace and tied on a little cross to finish it off. 

The sentiment was done on my computer and although you can't see it I have added an insert with an appropriate verse.
