Charisma this week Something with a Tail

Hi there, it's my turn to set the challenge at Charisma this week and I've chosen Something with a Tail. So an easy one for you ......The lovely Carly had to post the challenge for me as my Internet went down on Wednesday morning and has only came back on in the last hour. Typical... had to be the day I really needed it.....bloomin Virgin!!!!!
Anyway I hope you like my DT card for this one, the image is from The Digi Stamp Boutique, Millie singing Carols, isn't she cute...!! I coloured her with Copics and Promarkers.
Everything else I used is from my stash, paper was a freebie in a mag, holly from some Christmas stash from long ago, and the sentiment was from another Christmas pack from Lakelands.

I really enjoyed making this card as I've never done this fold before. I got the inspiration from my friend Elaine she sent me a gorgeous Birthday card a couple of weeks ago using this fold, thanks Elaine. You can see the card here, she also made a lovely little gift box to match. Elaine's blog is well worth a visit if you haven't been before, her cards are fab.

Baby Girl first birthday

Hi there, this is a card I made for my Great Niece who is one year old tomorrow. As you can see her name is Olivia and she is just so sweet.
The organza ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest is from my stash. It looks lilac in this pic but is really very pink. I don't know why my photo's of late are not showing true colours, I think I might try and make a light box. My Son Matt was showing me how to make one the other evening so with his help I might have a go when ever I get the time. Life is hectic at the moment, not enough hours in the day for all the thing I want to do.
I treated myself to the TSV on QVC on Saturday's Christmas in July show. It was a set of three punches, Martha Stewart Christmas around the page, and also a deep edge punch which punches out a panel of snowflakes.....fabulous. I'm off now to have a play I'll have some cards with it before the end of the week.

Anything but square.....Charisma

Hi there, this is my DT card for this weeks challenge over at Charisma and I decided to use my Oval Nesties for this one. The images I have used are by Meljen's Designs and you can buy all Mellisa's fab digis over at Whimsey Stamps who are our sponsors for this challenge. The prize this week is a gift certificate to spend in their online shop to the value of $15.00. How fab is that.

WOJ Wedding...

Hi there, I'm back from my hols and raring to go. This card was made weeks ago for my friend Maggie to give to her Daughter on her Wedding day which was yesterday. Hubby and I were at the reception last night and had a fabulous time.
They were married at Gretna Green....How romantic!!!!.... and then had the reception here at Castlecary.
I have used WOJ Wedding Carriage image, coloured with Copics, and flower soft added for 3-D effect on the carriage

Hi there I hope you are all having a great weekend. Mine has been fab so far...tomorrow is Independance Day in America and it's also My Birthday. I've received quite a few cards already...not opened them all yet...I need to keep some surprises for tomorrow. I've spent most of today colouring in some images . I bought a couple of Kenny K images yesterday and this is the card I made with one of them.
