Good morning everyone, it's my turn to set the challenge at Charisma this week, boy did that come round fast..!!! Anyway I decided on a theme of
CIRCLES .
As always just have fun making whatever you like, it doesn't have to be a circle card, anything at all as long as there are circles in some form on your project.
As you can see above my DT sample is a wall hanging I've kept it monochrome this time and I think it works really well.
The flower in the center was made from a die cut from Cuddly Buddly called Die ribbon flower 1 and you can purchase it here
It cuts 2 pieces to the flower and a small swirl too, the top part has small slits on the petals and you can thread ribbon through to make the center of the flower. I have tried to show a close up of the flower so that you can see the slits where the ribbon goes. I really like this and will certainly be making loads of different flowers with it.
The DP is a FREE download from Crafts by Carolyn mounted onto silver mirri card. The layer above that is stamped 5 times using an image called Modern flower 1, to make a circular image and is from this weeks sponsor at Charisma the Digi Stamp Boutique. Then of course is the die cut flower on top.
I've had a really busy week with gas fitters in installing new central heating system, the old one was 25 years old and was on it's last legs..... so.....I've been cleaning up the mess all week and thankfully now the workmen have gone. I've got loads of decorating to do now but that will have to wait a few weeks as the bathroom is being fitted in the next few weeks too. More mess.....ugh..but it should all be worth it when it's done. I'm off to bed now as I've scheduled this post to come on when I'm at work in the morning.
