Just had to share this with you. A few days ago I ordered some goodies from Cuddly Buddly stamps and flowers and fibres. The order came really fast but they had sent sticky crochet instead of fibres. So I emailed, they replied right away and told me my fibres would be sent to me that day and just to keep the crochet too. Very nice of them I thought.
The next day the fibres arrived with a note and an extra stamp for the inconvenience.So I ended up very happy and 10 out of 10 to CB for customer service. Wish all companies were as good at this it's really nice when you get good customer service I think, don't you? Off now to make cards.

Friday Sketchers....

I would also like to thank everyone for their good wishes for my Mum, I'm glad to say that she seems to be responding well to the antibiotics and is looking a lot brighter this evening. She's still in hospital and not likely to be home for a wee while yet but at least she is getting a good rest. Have to wait and see what the doctors say on Monday. Fingers crossed....

This past 2 weeks have been really hectic and I just found out tonight that I have missed 3 family birthdays last week. I'M GUTTED!!! I hate to miss anyones birthday and I'm especially annoyed because one of them was my Niece's 21st.....I've been trying to think how I managed it and I've just remembered that it was the weekend I wasn't well with that stupid virus and then Mum being taken into hospital made matters worse. So I'm now going to make 3 cards and send with apologies. I'll have to get my brain back on track....lol.... Hope you all have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Shelves William made me a few months ago. I put my most used stamps on here the rest are in the drawers at the side.



These drawers were from Ikea a few years ago. Brilliant for card and stamps. I also have all my inkpads in here too, and loads of pens.

Here we are a bit more tidy looking than it was this morning. Still have to sort a lot of stuff out but need a lot more space and storage....I have a plan....lol. I need to get rid of the bed and buy a footon....then I'll have more space to put in more storage....have to convince William though.. No cards today....

Just in from the hospital. They took my Mum in last night with an infection in her leg. She's looking very tired. Her legs are quite swollen normally and have been that way for years, but for some reason they got really bad this week and her doctor sent her to Stobhill hospital to get them to check it out. Turns out she has a really bad infection and they are keeping her in while they do tests and pump her full of antibiotics. At 88 years old she does brilliantly and is very independant but she has been in a lot of pain recently in her hips and knees, hopefully they can get it sorted for her soon. At least she is getting a wee rest in there.
Sooooo I started to tidy up my space to take some pics for Dawn's candy post but it's taking a lot longer than I thought......too much stuff.......got some great ideas for storage from all the pics that have been posted on other's blogs, just need to convince Hubby to do all the little DIY jobs to make it all happen...lol. Got to, go more stuff to move. I'll try and get some cards on tomorrow. Bye for now...

Tee Break 60th

Card for an order for a girl in work for her Dad's 60th.I used Craft Creations decoupage Tee Break...BP are HOTP and the golf ball is embossed card de-boss side up. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking.

Wedding Day....

I made this card for an order for a girl in work. Much the same card as I've done before ( everyone seems to love this lattice heart...) I matched the corners this time to the lattice in the heart and added a little cupid to make it a bit different. The gold backing paper is cut with my new paper trimmer from would you believe... Asda...£14.99 it's really good value, cuts A4 and has 6 different blades. Still use my Xcut for smaller cuts though. Well off now to make more cards. Thanks for looking in.

Raindrops on Roses.....

No!!!! I'm not singing a song from the Sound of Music.....lol.........I made this card tonight for an order, had to have red roses with raindrops. Decoupaged the roses and put the raindrops on with Anita's clear gloss finish . Added a couple of pearl embelishments and some peel off edging. Ribbon is a deep red satin. Looks darker in the photo than it really is. Backing is checked vellum from Lakelands. Hope you like it. Thanks for popping in.
