Cupcake crafts challenge #49 CHRISTMAS.....

A little update I am also entering this one into the Creative card Crew Challenge for Polka Dots....

Just what I needed to get me started on my Christmas cards again. So here he is again ...little Herb from WOJ!!! . I love this stamp he's just so lovely to colour. The papers I've used are from Craft Creations and a big thanks to Bev for directing us to them on one of her posts a while back. I used our sketch this week from Charisma cardz but as I'm a DT there I'm not entering it, so at the moment it's just for Cupcake unless I find it fits somewhere else too....lol .The ribbon is Anita's... snowflakes are Sizzix and the star charm is from Hobby House. CHARISMA SKETCH....

Good morning everyone hope you are all well. Our challenge this week at Charisma is a fab sketch designed by one of our previous DTs Lyndsey. I loved using this one and will certainly use is again. Above is my DT card for this challenge. I had a 30th Birthday card to do for a girl in work so I used the sketch for the card. Hope you like it. UPDATE on the photo. This one shows the true colours of the card. I took a few more pics this morning in the daylight and what a difference. I must get myself a daylight bulb and an area where I can photograph the cards better. I get really annoyed when the pics don't show the true colours especially when I'm giving the card to a customer and sometimes don't get another chance to photograph it. Hi there, just a quick post as I'm back to work in the morning...:( This card is for a 16th year old girl who loves Drama , musicals, and New York. I'm not happy with the photo as it doesn't show the strong colours on this card. I wanted to pick up the cobalt blue and cerise pink from the image and it worked really well but the pic hasn't shown it at all. I'll try and get another pic in the daylight and see if it's any better. The DP is Heidi Grace,which by the way is cobalt blue, the big flower is a pressie from Carly, thanks Carly your a star. The cerise paper is basic grey, sultry and I embossed it with elegant swirls from Cuttlebug. The sentiment is computer generated and mounted on to Labels 2 Nesties. I've used Stickles on the Masks and added a few gems too. Right I'm off to bed now early start tomorrow. Thanks for looking...

Charisma challenge #27......Altered item....

Good morning everyone, it's Thursday again and another challenge from Charisma for all you lovely crafters out there. This week the challenge is being set by the lovely Carly the owner of Charisma, and she would like you to ALTER SOMETHING (NO CARDS). My DT sample this week is a bottle box that I received last Christmas with of course a lovely bottle of vino.....which we had with our Christmas dinner. To start with it was just plain silver, though very nice, I just thought it needed a little cheering up, so I've added some papers from Craftcreations,the image is WOJ Herb, isn't he just gorgeous!! I'm going to be using him a lot this year, and I mounted him on my Oval Nesties. Sizzix snowflakes, Papermania brads and ribbon from my stash. The little star charm is from Hobby House.

Hi again, I just wanted to show the really lovely handmade cards and pressies I received this week. I had a really nice birthday yesterday, and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all my family and friends for your really lovely birthday wishes and fabulous cards and gifts. You all made it a really special day.

Gorjuss card from Nat....

Hello there I just wanted to show you this fab card and PB images I recieved this week from Natalie. It was a lovely surprise thanks so much Natalie. Such a Gorjuss card and I love the colours. As you can see she sent me some great sentiment images which is great 'cause I don't have that many so these will be very usefull, and I love that flower image. I'm so glad I'm off work this week, can't wait to have a play with these. Hope you are all; having a great weekend.

'Cause it's my birthday..... and I'm hoping to receive cards rather than send them.....for a change.....

Hopefully the sun will shine. I'm going to a party for my Sister -in-laws Hubby tonight, Lee. He's so fab. It's was his 40th in May but his Nephew was seriously ill and he couldn't come up to Scotland then. Sooo.... the party is tomorrow. Two birthdays to celebrate so should be fun.... the whole family will be there so I hope Mr Sun puts in an appearance,...Might put some pics on here ...tomorrow.

My DT card for Charisma challenge # 26

Well here we are again Thursday and it's Charisma challenge day. Don't know what happened to the rest of the week it just flew by. Got loads done this week while I've been off work but I'll not bore you with all the details.Decorating, cleaning, gardening etc. Suffice to say I'm totally exhausted. Got my Grandsons Daniel and Christopher all day today so hope the weather keeps nice so we can be outside and have some fun, but no kicking footballs for me this week I'm still suffering with my pulled hamstring since last time...lol. The doctor says it will take 6 weeks to heal.

Now don't laugh!!!!.......it's really painfull........hehe

Right onto the challenge.

This week the lovely Jan has asked us all to have Buttons on our cards. I love buttons. I used to play with my Mums button tin for hours when I was very little. Just one of those little childhood memories that we all have .....lol. So.... get out the button boxes and get crafting. Looking forward to all your fab creations again this week.
