For my DT project I decided to make a simple little Easter Basket . This is a list of the materials used.
1st Edition Papers....Blank Canvas
Marianne Creatables.....Doily Die
Britania dies...Med Flower Rose Die
Britania Dies...Leaf Strip
Joy Craft ... Daisy Die
Martha Stewart Doily Border Punch
Satin Ribbon
Ric Rac
Gems
Method
Using 8 x 8inch
paper/card make a box base or alternatively use a ready
made box and decorate with your chosen papers
Next using your die cut machine cut 2 Marianne Doilies then cut each one in half. This will give you
the 4 flaps. Measure 1cm in from flat
edge and score. Fold to give the hinge to go over the box edge. Secure flaps to
the inside of the box with Tape or glue and decorate with die cut flowers.
Make the handle with
Martha Stewart border punch and secure to the inside of the base either with
glue, tape or a small brad underneath the flap. Add the same punched border
around the bottom of the base and then add some
Ric Rac. Decorate the handle with a few die cut leaves and flowers adding
a gem to the centre of each. Finally finish off with some ribbon on the handle
and add shredded tissue paper and some Easter Eggs or chocolates.
