Jewellery for a change and a wee Baby card
Hello again, two posts today, trying to catch up with all the stuff I haven't blogged yet.
I've recently been making little bracelets and necklaces for my 3 year old Grand Daughter who just loves helping me and now has more jewellery than me....lol so I decided to make some for myself.
I made this bracelet a few days ago while sitting in the garden. I wanted it for my hols next week so here it is. I don't think I will ever buy a bracelet again they are so easy to make and really good fun too.
*******************************
Below is a card I made last night for my friend Dorothy who has just become an Aunty...Awww!! this is to give to her new Sister In Law and I'm pleased to say she loved it.
Thanks for popping in,
Happy crafting

PRIZE ONE -
"Sassy
Studio Designs is a fresh new company. We have been designing and
selling for a year now, and we have been kindly received into the
community of digi stampers and crafters. I started designing images
shortly after I started stamping, reason being...I didn't hardly like
anything else out there I was a young adult woman at the time I was
engaged, had no kids, I wanted fun sexy images that I would enjoy using
and my friends and hubby would enjoy receiving. I designed images for 2
other digi stamp companies when my wonderful hubby kept trying to get me
to go out on my own. So in June 2009 thanks to the few faithful
followers I had, Sassy Studio Designs was born! It has been a wonderful
journey starting my own store. We have just grown so much these past
months.I still try to keep "
Lindsay
Dyer: keep with my original philosophy and reason for designing stamps,
make them fun and keep them sassy...and yes sometimes even sexy!
Lindsay
One Lucky Crafter winner will get to pick 4 of the beautiful digi's as this fortnights prize!
PRIZE TWO -
Delicious Doodles is a young company with myself,
Teri, as the Sole Trader/Designer.
I have doodled and sketched all of my life.
I
started making greetings cards when my last child was born, and used my
doodles on them as I couldn’t find what I wanted in the usual craft
places.
I only started selling my images in the Autumn of 2009.
I
design and hand/mouse-draw all of the images that are sold in the
Delicious Doodles Shop. Some are cutsie animals, some are sketched
flowers, there are a few men's images, fairies and also some 'darker'
images featuring vampires, skulls and Gothic stuff, something for
everyone!
Why not pop over and take a look.
Who are offering 4 digis of the winners choice!
Prize Three -

For my DT project I decided to make a simple little Easter Basket . This is a list of the materials used.
1st Edition Papers....Blank Canvas
Marianne Creatables.....Doily Die
Britania dies...Med Flower Rose Die
Britania Dies...Leaf Strip
Joy Craft ... Daisy Die
Martha Stewart Doily Border Punch
Satin Ribbon
Ric Rac
Gems
Method
Using 8 x 8inch
paper/card make a box base or alternatively use a ready
made box and decorate with your chosen papers
Next using your die cut machine cut 2 Marianne Doilies then cut each one in half. This will give you
the 4 flaps. Measure 1cm in from flat
edge and score. Fold to give the hinge to go over the box edge. Secure flaps to
the inside of the box with Tape or glue and decorate with die cut flowers.
Make the handle with
Martha Stewart border punch and secure to the inside of the base either with
glue, tape or a small brad underneath the flap. Add the same punched border
around the bottom of the base and then add some
Ric Rac. Decorate the handle with a few die cut leaves and flowers adding
a gem to the centre of each. Finally finish off with some ribbon on the handle
and add shredded tissue paper and some Easter Eggs or chocolates.
