Hi, today my cards are for my two Grandsons. Christopher who is just starting school and Daniel who knows the ropes and is going into Primary 2...lol.
They've grown up so fast I can hardly believe it. The schools in our part of Scotland go back on Wednesday and Christopher has changed his mind now and says he's not going...lol Kids !!!!
This is what I used..
Image is Dundee from Mo Manning. so cute..
Book Worm is from Eliz. Dulemba
both coloured with Copics and Prisma pencils.
the pencil Sentiment is hand made
Paper brads, string and button from my stash
The little bubble alpha stickers I bought in Tesco
I have added a little Car button 'cause Christopher is mad about cars....

This one is for Daniel. This time I used an image of tie that I've had for years, coloured with Copics in the school colours ( I hope he's impressed...lol) I have attached it with a piece of acetate to make it springy......I tried to take a close up of the acetate fixing but my camera died on me, so I will attempt it again when the camera is fully charged.
The paper is a download and was black and white to start with so I altered it in Picasa to match the school colours.
Again the pencil sentiment is handmade and the backpack is a piece of clip art.
Daniel got the crafty Gene and loves making stuff, every time he comes in he says "What are we making today Grannie?" and loves being in my craft room, so I know he will love having a handmade card.
Thanks for your visit today, happy crafting !
Camera charged up now so here is a pic of the acetate fixer on the back of the tie. It is folded in a W shape.
I can't believe Christopher is going to school this year! they are fab cards, love the springy tie and the smart bookworm. Elaine

Love both these cards, fabulous! and was thinking how did you change that back to school paper to blue (I've just used that some paper a few days ago) then read it, (I'm a rubbish reader) it went brown when I was nearly out of black ink!
