Hi, today has been really wet so I had some time in my craft room and coloured this adorable image from Funky Kits.
She is called Flora and I decided that a vintage card would suit her best so I set out with that in mind. I was really pleased with the end result, so much so that I decided to make a header for my blog using this card. As you can see I have changed the sentiment to my blog name and put a lace background around it. I have been searching for a header for quite some time and I loved this image so much that I just knew it was perfect.
The papers are all from my stash, and I coloured cream lace with my Copics to match.
I used Joy Craft and Marianne Creatable dies and Nesties.
Flowers and gold corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbons from stash.
I really enjoyed making this card and I would love to hear your views so if you have the time to leave a comment I would really appreciate it, as I don't venture into Vintage very often although I really do love the style.
Thanks for popping in

stunning card Vee, and it looks great as your header.....we must be the only people who love rain so that we don't feel guily when we're having fun

I just love the wonderul colors of this card, and the idea of coloring lace with Copics is just great! (i color seam binding, just never thought I could do the same with lace... weird, huh?)
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is simply perfect, and a great card to use for a heading!
