Charisma....Valentines/ Love

Hello everyone!!!! wonders will never cease I actually remembered to schedule my post for this morning... Wooohoo!!!!

This week at Charisma we would like to see some Valentines or anything LOVE related. As always we have some super prizes on offer from our fabulous sponsors and don't forget the Top 3 badge too.

My DT offering this week is a very simple card. I have used papers and embellishments I've had for years and put them together to make an Anniversary card....LOVE related... I decided it's about time I started to use up some of my stash of papers and other stuff before I buy any more. The only thing on the card that is new is the LOTV circle sentiment.

Top Tip Tuesday Tutorial....Making flowers using hearts

This week over at Top Tip Tuesday it's our lovely Leanne's  tutotial on Flowers made from hearts. You don't want to miss this one, we all have heart punches and heart cuttables in our stash and now you can use them to make fabulous flowers. It's really easy and I know you will all want to have a go.

For my DT card for this week I have used a WOJ image Malinda and masked the Magnolia Daisy for her to sit on, Laura Ashley papers, Marianne Creatable dies, punched Hearts to make the flower, Lace, button, flowers and charm from my stash.

Charisma ...Magic Numbers

Hello everyone!, firstly apologies for my post being late, as many of you who are regulars to my blog will know my Mum has been  in hospital for a few months now and was due to come home this week. However  without going into too much detail,  she had a fall and broke her hip on Sunday in the hospital and has had to have a partial Hip Replacement operation,and to top all that she has shingles.  So as you can see I've been busy going up to the hospital and it's been a really upsetting week. It's going to take a long time to get her up on her feet and fit again, but we will take each day as it comes. She has had a really rough time this past few months and is very tired.

 I managed to get my card done ahead of time last week but just never had time to post it till now. I hope you have managed to pop over to the Charisma blog and take part in our Magic Numbers challenge. As always we have some fabulous prizes on offer for you.

Little Rapunzel..Elizabeth Bell

 

Good morning everyone, I came across one of my favourite Elizabeth Bell images this morning and just had to colour her. I've always liked this colour combo but somehow don't manage to use it enough...must remedy that I thought.... so here she is, Little Rapunzel. This is a digi image and can be purchased here.
I'm back to work tomorrow after a three week break so I'm having a crafty day, meeting friends for lunch and then up to the hospital to visit my Mum. It's been really great having time to myself this past couple of weeks but sadly it can't last forever.....lol As always I never done half of the things I promised myself I would do but I did manage to get a wee bit ahead with my crafting so I'm pleased about that.

Top Tip Tuesday Tutorial....Alter a tin...and the challenge is use Metal

Good morning! and a very Happy New Year to everyone.
Before I tell you about this weeks challenge I thought I would give you a little update on my Mum. She came through her 2nd operation okay and is now recovering well. Hopefully we will get her home in the next couple of weeks. A huge thank you to everyone for all your get well wishes and prayers for her.

I hope you all had a lovely time over the festive season and now you're ready to get crafting again. This week at Top Tip Tuesday the lovely Moriah is showing us Altered Tins. My contribution to this week is a Jack Daniels tin from last Christmas, you know the ones with a miniature bottle of Jack D and a small glass. Nooooo!! It's not mine...lol it's my Son's.
I have altered it to make a tin for a fisherman to use. Very easy to do and quite decorative looking. The images are from DRS Designs.com....the image on the lid is called Fishing Square and you can find it here and inside the lid the image is called Fishing Rules and is here, both great images for the fisherman in your family.
I used a check ribbon from my stash to cover the sides and a clip art image of a fish. On top of that I added some some plastic mesh from some fruit bags. I made a fishing hook from a paperclip some beads and jewellery findings and added some jumbled up twine to finish it off.
I gave it to my Sister in Law's Hubby yesterday as he's the only guy I know who goes fishing and he loved it.
So on to this weeks challenge which is to use METAL on your projects, could be a brad a charm anything metal. The choice is yours. We are really looking forward to a New Year full of fab tutorials for you on the TTT blog and we also have some new members on our teams too, so lots of fab new ideas for you every week and as always amazing prizes from our fabulous sponsors.
