Love 'n Hugs,.... Meljens Designs

Good morning everyone. I just wanted to share this card with you before I send it off to my blogging buddy Fiona (lil daffodil). She's having a really hard time of it at the moment and is in Perth Royal Infirmary, so when I bought this digi image a couple of days ago at Meljen's designs I immediately thought of Fiona. Her Hubby William has been keeping her blog updated with her progress and has done a fabulous job.

Girl Power!!!! @ Charisma

Hi everyone, glad you could join me on this sunny Thursday morning....I hope!!( my post is scheduled...lol)...I'm hoping that big yellow ball will make an appearance today.
This week at Charisma we are looking for your ' Girly 'creations. Polka doodles monochomatic....Easel card

Hello there thanks for stopping by my blog today. I managed to make this Easel card for my friend at work despite feeling really under the weather yesterday and today with a heavy head cold and the usual aches and pains that go with it. Closely followed by the cough that is now starting to get really annoying..... Why do these thing always happen on your days off ?...
Anyway enough of my moans here's what I used for the card.

Vicky Sketching stamper digi...and Elaine's Sketch

Hi !! An unusual colour combo for this card, it just seemed to fit...... The image is Vicky shopping from the Sketching stamper. I think she is very Manga looking and I love Manga images.

I have used my friend Elaine's fab sketch from Vee's Sketch Pad for this card.

The DP is Papermania Aqua Pack....In know it's not aqua but there are some really dark papers in there.......
The peach dotty paper is from Wild Asparagus, I love these papers!!!!.... and they are running out... sob!!!
The flower is a combo of Robo Retro cut flower and Woodware large Daisy cut on Wild Asparagus papers.
The sentiment is Computer generated and the ribbon is from my stash.

My quirky DT card...

Good morning everyone, It's Thursday again and time for another challenge over at Charisma cardz.
This week the theme is Use a Quote/quotation on your card or project. As you can see my DT card is a little bit quirky. Our sponsor this week is Sunshine Stamps and the DT were kindly given some images to choose from. I Picked this little fellow 'cause he reminded me of Tweety Pie with his cheeky little quirky face. I think he's really cute and funny. I also stole the quote from Tweety Pie so I hope Disney don't Sue me...lol.

A Communion card.....

Hi there, A friend asked me to do a First Communion card and this is the result.
For the base card I used water taffeta card. It has a really beautiful texture and sheen to it which you can just about see in the second pic. The image is a free download and I'm sorry I never put the name on the file I only know that it is an Easter Cross. It is coloured with Copics and I added some star dust stickles. It is mounted on Oval Nesties.
The flowers are all Prima and the brads and flower centers which are flattened bead caps, are from The Hobby House. The cross charm is from The Works. Ribbon from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.

Monochromatic mad at Charisma......

Hi all!! hope you are all having a fab week. Our challenge over at Charisma Cardz is MONOCHROMATIC......shades of one colour.

For my DT card I have chosen the colour Teal. I've had these Papermania papers for ages and been dying to use them. The image is WOJ Willow with Flowers coloured with Copics. I used MS arch punch, Roses from Wild Orchid crafts and the other flowers and the ribbon are from my stash. I decided to go a bit ott with the stickles on the flower...he he!!! I just wanted it to stand out...... and added a few gems just because they suited the colour scheme.
I hope you have a lovely day whatever you get up to... I'm at work this morning so this post is scheduled. Hopefully I'll get home early enough to maybe make a card or two.

TRI FOLD CARD 40TH.....

I can't tell you how difficult it has been to photograph this card. I've taken countless pics and these are as good as it gets..... It just doesn't look as good as real life!! Anyhow here is what I used for my card:-

Well here we are another week has flown by and I'm half way through my week off work already. As always I never managed to do as much as I hoped but at least I'm having some ME time for a change.
This weeks challenge over at Charisma has been set by Joanne and she has chosen

For my card this week I have used an image given to me from my friend ,this one is
Tilda bunch of roses. I coloured her with my Copics as usual and added a sentiment from Wild Rose Studio.
Papers are FF Pink Parfait, Roses from Wild Orchid crafts and the ribbon is from my stash. I added stickles to the roses and to Tilda's bouquet.

Hi everyone, I'm off work for the rest of the week....wooohooooo!!! so I'm planning some crafting time if I can fit it in.
Today I did this card firstly for the PB challenge but then found a few more that it fits.
Here's what I used: PB image Hot but cool Girl coloured with Copics K & Co papers in yellow Papermania DP in soft brown dots Green check paper was free in a craft mag ages ago. Sentiment computer generated.
Flowers handmade with Woodware flower punches, 3 sizes
Ribbon from stash
Tiny little buttons bought at SECC craft fair ages ago. maker is Goodwear Products. There are even smaller ones that these in the pack 3ml .....teeny tiny little buttons. They were the wrong colour so I coloured them with my copics to suit.

A lovely Award...

Hello everyone, I hope you have all enjoyed the Easter Weekend and you managed to enjoy some sunshine at some point. I'm afraid our Egg hunt was indoors this year for the kids but they still thoroughly enjoyed it. The rain stopped eventually but still to wet to put eggs out in the garden. We had a lovely time despite the weather. I had a nice surprise today when I discovered my lovely blogging friend Fiona had given me this award, she has translated it as an Enchanting Blog, how lovely is that!!
