Manga for Christmas

Hi everyone hope you are all having a fab week. I've just finished a stint of Jury Duty....Thank goodness that's me done for the week. I was getting a bit worried in case it would interfere with my Big Christmas Lunch with my two crafty chums Elaine and Maureen. We save up the whole year and have a fab Posh Christmas Lunch and drinks, I'm really looking forward to it on Monday.

Right now back to the card. As you can see I've used my Manga Baubles stamp from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits. I love this stamp and it's great fun to colour. Ive coloured it with Copics in traditional colours this time 'cause I have loads of papers in these colours.
The top paper is Christmas Traditional from Dovecraft, and the green is Basic Grey. The Poinsettia and border were cut on my Robo and darkened down with Colour Box pigment ink. Right of now to do a couple more then I'll have a count and see how many more Christmas cards I actually need. I'm trying to get some time to try out stamping on candles again. I made a hash of it last ...I think I was in too much of a hurry.....hoping I can master it this time. Thanks for popping in and for all your lovely comments recently, I really appreciate it especially at this time of year when we are all so busy with lots to do.

  1. Hi Vee,
I'll bet your glad your stint is over. These things can be a complete waste of time but I suppose we all have to do our bit.
I love this card. Gorgeous papers and a very pretty image. Beautiful.
