AN UPDATE TO THIS POST..........I'VE BEEN ASKED HOW TO MAKE THIS CARD. SO HERE IS THE BLOG WHERE I FOUND THE INSTRUCTION.
Hi everybody hope you all had a lovely weekend we had sunshine right through for a change, it was lovely. This card was for a female who plays Bowls and it was for her 70th Birthday...Ever since I saw these cards I've wanted to have a go at one and decided to do this Female bowling card with the Tri fold. I searched for hours for a decent female bowling pic and couldn't find one that I liked enough so I used this plain image that I've had for years. As you can see is not very feminine and I didn't want it on the front of the card so the tri-fold was just perfect for it.
It was very well received by the girl who ordered it, so much so that she paid me more than I asked and she has given me another order for her Son's 30th birthday. So I think I can safely say it was a success. Phew!!! I always worry when I do a new design that people won't like it as much as I do.
So here's what I used.......Labels 2 Nesties, Image is a decoupage from FGS Creative Designs, various peel offs, X cut small heart punch, flowers from Poppicraft, and the DP is Small Dots from Craft Creations. I absolutely love this paper it's so versatile you can use it on any kind of card. I've got a few more cards to post later tonight when I get them finished. Have a lovely day wherever you are and thanks for popping in.
A fab card, I love the papers you used. I think it will be very popular design. Elaine
ReplyDeletewow Vee it's incredible. You've managed to turn that unfeminine image into a stunning feminine card. No wonder she ordered another one
