My Challenge this week @ Charisma

Hi there, thanks for stopping by today. Hopefully wherever you are the snow and winter weather has all but gone and you are enjoying some brighter days. I love this time of year when everything starts to grow and renew so I've decided to have
SPRING HAS SPRUNG
as my challenge for you this week.
For my DT sample I have used another image from the Digi Stamp Boutique who are our sponsors this week.
This image is called Spring Hoppy, isn't he cute!!. I coloured the image with my Copics and used FF Pink Parfait papers, Labels 2 and oval Nesties, Martha Stewart Doily punch and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The brad and bead cap in the center of the flower are from the Hobby House and the ribbon is from my stash.

Coco with flowers.....

Hi there, tonight I've got a card made with a really cute image from the Digi Stamp Boutique and he's called Coco with flowers. I think he's really lovely and a great image for all your Spring/ Easter cards. He's from a set of five images, more of which you will see on my blog as the week progresses. The papers are form K & Co... Daisies don't you just love these spring colours, Sentiment is HOTP and the little flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I put little gems in the centers of the flowers just to add a little bling. The ribbon I bought at the SECC a few weeks ago and the image is mounted on to Labels 2 Nesties.

Charisma... somehing for the Kids

Good morning ! Thanks for popping in ... this week over at Charisma we would like to see Something for the Kids. As always you can make anything you choose as long as it's for a child. We hope you have fun with the challenge this week and look forward to seeing all you fab creations.
As you can see I made a Desk tidy, you can make it very easily by using the tubes from your Kitchen roll. Why not get the kids to make one for themselves they are easy and fun to make. All the papers are from Papermania and the chipboard flowers were free in Quick cards mag a while ago.

Crafty Sentiments Sketch and a Gorjus Girl...

Hi again, two posts this evening, I had some time to play tonight and this is the result. I used the sketch from Crafty Sentiments, the image is a Gorjus girl stamp I've had for ages and hardly used. She was coloured with Copics and mounted onto Nesties Labels 2. The papers are K&Co Daisies.Small flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the other is from my stash. Sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio mounted on to circle Nesties, and I used a MS border punch Arches. I edged all the papers with a Jade Brilliance ink pad.

Tri fold Retirement.....

Hi there! thanks for visiting my blog , today I made a card for a male retirement for a friends Dad . I used the Trifold card and PM papers For Him. The image is a download from Cuddly Buddly from the Men at Work collection which was ready coloured ( cheated a little bit there) ..lol great when you need a quick card. I used chipboard letters for DAD and the rest of the text is done on my computer..I also used Nesties 2 lables and some textured mirri card . The little tool charms are from the works...aren't they cute.

A gift Card holder..and my new Puter...

Hi there hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Tonight we are going to my Nephew's Engagement party and I made this card today for my Nephew and his Fiance to hold a gift card for their engagement present. I thought I'd let them choose what they would like to buy.
I saw a card like this displayed on the SU Stand last week at the Glasgow SECC craft show and I really liked it, and it turned out just perfect for a little gift card holder.
Everything I used is from my stash and I used the MS Doily border punch on the inside.

I've been have great fun today playing with my new Laptop..I'ts so FAST!!! ...I've been going crazy with the old one and spending most of my time waiting for it to load stuff, but this one is fabulous it loads everything in an instant and I can now have programs like Photo Shop and others to play around with. All I need now is the time to play......

DT CALL AT CHARISMA.....

Morning everyone!!! This week we have a DT call over at Charisma Cardz .

Sadly we have to announce that Sally is stepping down due to Family commitments. We are so sad to see her go and wish her all the best in the future. Beautiful Butterflies at Charisma this week......

Good morning everyone it's Thursday again already, this week has flown in. Our theme this week at Charisma is BUTTERFLIES....

My DT card above is for my Mum who is 90 years young today!!!

I've used my Wild Asparagus papers, and animal print copper embossed paper for this one as I love the colours and I hope my Mum will too.
I've had the butterfly hanging around my stash for years, my Mum gave me it so I thought it would be lovely to use it on her card. The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, ribbon I bought at the SECC show at the weekend, and the added little butterflies and numbers are peel offs.

Well I'm off now to clean and tidy the house as we are having a small family get together for her this evening.

My first Tent card.....

I made this card tonight for my Nephew and his Wife who have just had a lovely baby Daughter. I saw this Tent card on another blog, sorry I can't remember where but if I find it I'll put a link to it. I thought it would be just perfect for this baby card and it is quite easy to make.

The image is Forever Friends, Papers are from my stash ( Bought in Tesco ages ago) I used Nesties Circles for the aperture and I have suspended the image with jump rings. The back of the card is stamped with Katie & co Sweet Baby stamp ( found it in a bargain box in the Paper shop 50p) I added the verse mounted on Circle Nesties, then I went a bit mad with the stickles...lol.
