Its Fairy time at Charisma !!!

Good morning everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying a bit of sunshine today.

The challenge over at Charisma Cardz this week is FAIRIES.... As always you can make anything you like a s long as there is a fairy on it somewhere. We have a fab prize again this week so why not pop along and join in the challenge. We are looking forward to all your wonderful creations with Fairies.

Now onto my DT card. I have used a decoupage by Caron Vinson which I really love, I think she has the most beautiful face. I've added some fine sparkle to her wings, headdress and the bottom of her dress.( Click on the image for a larger picture.)

The DP is from Craft Creations and I wound some silver thread around it. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon, Rose charm, and lace are from my stash and I have used Nellies choice Frond punch.

Hi there thanks for stopping by my blog. I had my 2 little Grandsons last night for a sleepover so I never had time for any crafting. We had a really good time and the boys were in my craft room this morning making pictures for Mum and Dad... so I didn't get to my crafty stuff till after dinner.

VERY SIMPLE PAPER POUCHES FOR EASTER...

Hi there! Tonight I made these lovely little paper pouches for my Grandson's for little Easter treats. They are so quick and easy to make you could make loads in one night. I found them in the Christmas issue of Papercraft Inspirations, as I couldn't find the step by step guide on their web site I've taken a couple of pics of the page in the mag. They have used double sided 12 x 12 papers but I used 8 x8 instead which is just big enough for little Easter treats. If you don't have double sided paper don't worry......for the two in the pic above I used two papers back to back and you get the same effect.

They are really fun to make and decorate and could be for any occasion if your looking for a quick and easy gift pocket. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

CHARISMA CARDZ WOULD LIKE TO SEE CANDLES!!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well this freezing Thursday morning and keeping nice and cosy.

Our challenge at Charisma this week is a

Birthday card with an added requirement.....it must have a candle in the design. So lets see all your fab designs again this week and most of all have fun creating.

Now onto my DT card. I have used a House Mouse image, fabulous FF Pink Parfait papers, circle Nesties. Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, Hobby House charm, MS Punch, Nellies Choice floral Punch... Frond. The rest is from my stash.

Once again we have a fabulous prize for our lucky winner and there is also a badge for our Top Three. Looking forward to seeing all your lovely Birthday cards this week.

Cute Card Thursday....Metal Mania

I wanted to do something with pastel colours for a change and used the fabulous FF Pink Parfait papers. The image is House Mouse, flowers from Cuddly Buddly, the Happy Birthday candle stamp is from Dovecraft. I wound some silver metal wire round a paintbrush to make the coils, and the rest is from my stash. Hope you are all enjoying a happy relaxed evening crafting.

My DT card for Charisma.....

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well on this cold Thursday. This week we have a fab sketch from the lovely Sally to get your creative juices flowing, so pop over and have a look and while you're there feast your eyes upon the fab creations this week from the rest of our talented design team

My DT card this week is for my Hubby. His year as President of our bowling club is nearing it's end and we are having a big party on Saturday to say thanks to everyone for their help during the season. A few of my Hubby's friends asked me to do a card to thank William also for all he has done this year and this is what I came up with. It's safe to put it on here as he very rarely looks at my blog.....I think...lol.

The DP is from Anita's classic Christmas Blue papers but as you can see they can be used for any kind of card. I have also used flocked paper with squares, I've had this for years but sadly this is the last of it. The image is Forever Friends and the sentiment has been mounted on Oval Nesties. I found the little Rosette in my stash. I 'm not sure if there's enough on it but I've got till Saturday to add to it if I need to. Hope you all have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Three step card...and cupcakes for a guy

Hi! I bet you're wondering why I'm putting Cupcakes on a guys card. Well the reason is he has his own business delivering all kinds of yummy cakes to hotels, shops etc. He's a friend of my Hubby's and he's 50 at the weekend.

This is my first attempt at one of these step cards... I'm not sure if I'll do any more although I like the finished card it's not a design I would do all the time.

The papers were from my stash and I used labels Nesties. All the cake pics were Googled as I just didn't have enough cake stamps. The van was also Googled and I added the words on Publisher. I hope he likes it..

All dressed up.. 60th Birthday.. 3 challenges

Good morning ! I hope you are all well and thanks for visiting my blog. Today it's really wet and miserable so I decided to finish some orders for cards. This card is for the same order as the previous post. Another 60th birthday.

I am entering three challenges with it, Fussy and Fancy who want you to Dazzle them...I think there's plenty of dazzle here.

Secret Crafter who want to see Multi fold card.

Our Creative Corner who want you to use something old that you have either not used for ages or have never used at all.

I think we all have stash that's been put away and forgotten about.

Mine is the Glamour Prints paper from Dovecraft. Bought on a whim 'cause it looked really girly but never used. I think it's just perfect for this card as the Birthday girl loves make up and clothes.

I used my own sketch #24 from my other blog Vee's Sketch Pad.

The image is from PB Light up the Night and is coloured with Copics and I added some sparkle to her outfit with a sparkly gel pen, not too over the top. The DP is My Minds Eye free pad with Cardmaking and Papercraft Mag, I love these papers. The ribbon, flowers and sparkly mirri card are all from my stash.
