Male retirement........

This card was a commission and the spec was Hill Walking, cycling, beer festivals. I use DSB image Jim Hiking, DSB cheers and the Bicycle image is from Rhoda  Design Studio. The hiking boots were part of a 3D sticker set. Papers are First Edition, Wimsey Stamps Die cut corners, Nesties Labels, and the leaves are Memory Box Dies. 

I seem to get a lot of orders for cards for men and I was thinking about having another blog just for Male cards, where I can have them all in one place. 

What do you think ?

 It would also have links to other male cards and links to images useful for guys and boys.  Just something I've been  thinking about for a little while and I would value any comments or ideas you might have.

Lovely Lace @ Charisma...

Good morning!!  This week at Charisma it's my turn to choose the theme and I thought it would be nice to see some LACE on your projects.
As you can see my DT card above is for a Christening and I have used a LOTV stamp. Not much colouring required on this so it's ideal if your in a hurry...lol. The metal corner is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flowers are Mulberry Crafts. Lace and ribbon are from my stash, had them for years....and the cross is from The Works. Martha Stewart Punch and Nesties.

Flower Fields...

I've had this Stampendous stamp for quite a while and this is the first time I've inked it up.It's called Flower Fields, I really love the sketchy look of the flowers and decided not to fully colour them but instead just gave them a hint of colour with some chalks. The paper I've also had for ages it's from Papermania Henbury Lane and the ribbon is from  Mei Flower. The tag is LOTV. 

I've been busy this past week or so trying to organize my unmounted stamps into folders, not an easy task I can tell you ....but hopefully when it's finished it will be a lot easier to find the image I need. I never knew I had so many...lol 

I bought one large ring binder,( Pink to match some of my boxes..) thinking that would be enough but I'm going to need another 2 or 3 I think...OMG!! where does all that stuff come from....he he he..

My whole craft room needs some serious organizing but this will do for starters.

For my DT card this week I have used a PB image given to me ages ago by my friend Elaine and I coloured it with Copics. The floral frame was cut on my Craft Robo, flowers and ribbon from my stash and the label sentiments are from LOTV.

Christmas cuties, DSB....

Hi I'm back as promised with a couple of the cards made with the toppers I made last week using Digi Stamp Boutique images. These are so cute don't you think, and so easy and quick to colour. I made a total of 29 cards last night for our Bowling Club charity day in aid of Strathcarron Hospice. I just kept it simple although you could add a few holly leaves or poinsettias if you wanted to fill the space.

  Hopefully people will like them enough to buy a few, I'm also going to make a few less is more cards for the usual Birthdays, Wedding, Anniversary, Thank You etc.  I would love to hear your comments if you have time  and maybe you might have some quick card ideas you can share.

Christmas toppers.....

I've been busy this week making some toppers for Christmas cards for our local Hospice. Our bowling club is holding a charity day for Strathcarron Hospice in a few weeks time and I thought I might do some cards for the event. These little toppers were made with Digi Stamp Boutique images and they are really fun to colour. I used die cuts to mount them and embossed them with Cuttlebug embossing folders. Hopefully I'll get some crafting time over the weekend and make some cards with them. The plan is keep is simple.....but knowing me that may not happen, I'm too fond of my papers and embellishments...lol

I'll probably do some Birthday and others as well, so keep popping in if you'd like to see what I create.
