Butterfly Kisses.....

Hello everyone, we're having a heatwave up here this weekend it's been really fabulous. I've been out and about so haven't got many cards done , except this one. I did this card for the Charisma challenge that is set for the DT every month, just for a bit of fun. This challenge is from Leanne the co owner of Charisma. She bought these cards as blanks with 9 covered apertures and gave them to us to see what we could do with them. I've stared at it for three weeks and last night came up with this idea....

As you can see I've covered up the middle three apertures so that I could fit in my sentiment, Leanne said we could alter it if we wanted. I've taken the back off the card and used it for the sentiment so that it matched up, then I put the remaining card behind the apertures and added little butterflies. On the front I put self adhesive seals that I bought in Miller's Art store in Glasgow a few weeks ago and they cost me 10 pence as they were in the sale bucket. Not a bad buy for 10p. They are a pale pink metallic finish. I added some gingham ribbon and then mounted the whole thing onto pink card stock.

Well I'm sooooooo glad I've got this done at last, I hadn't a clue until last night what I was going to do with it. but I really like the way it turned out. Hope Leanne likes it too. Right now I'm off out into the garden to do some tidying up then I've got the family for dinner. Hope the sun is shining where you are...

Charisma Challenge #21

Hello everyone hope you are all well this morning. This is my DT sample for this weeks challenge " Going Dotty" which has been set by the lovely Lyndsey. I don't know why I chose these colours not my usual pastels... I think I just needed a change, it's very Citrus.

Featuring.......the Lovely TILDA...coloured of course with Copics

Flowers are from Poppicrafts and the sentiment is stamped with Memento ink directly onto the flower.

Diamonds and champagne.....

Hi there crafty friends this is my card for today. It's an order for a 60th Anniversary. I used the same layout as my last card but this time I used a cb embossing folder for the panel. The decoupage is from Craft Creations, and I have added two small diamante stones to the champagne glasses. I also put one on the heart on the peel off at the bottom. I used a Fiskars border punch and the flowers are from Prima and Poppicrafts. The ribbon is a piece I had left from Wedding invitations that I did a few months ago. WOWEEEE!!!! ....Fab News!!!

Look at this........I've just found out I've won Sassy's awesome Birthday candy. I'm so delighted I've never won any Candy before and it's amazing, I can see all sorts of lovely stash in there. Can't wait for the postie to deliver it. Thanks so much Sassy you've made my day. Must dash now Hubby just came in and there's no dinner made......oh I don't think I'm going to calm down for a while.......

Baby's Dedication....

Hi there, back again. This time I've got two cards to post. Both for an order for a Dedication/ Christening. For the first one I used a baby decoupage from Le Suh and my oval nesties.White textured cardstock and polka dot paper from my stash.Fiskars border punch, I think it's called sunburst. The sentiment is computer generated and flowers are Prima and Poppicrafts. The organza ribbon is from Mandors in Glasgow.

For the second card I used Cuddly Buddly Pink bear. The DP is Papermania, with pink basil cardstock on top. Fiskars border punch , flowers from Prima and ribbon from Hobbycraft wedding section. Nesties and a gold peel off cross.

I've another to do for a Diamond Wedding. Might not manage to get that finished tonight so it will be tomorrow before I post it probably. I'm still reeling from my win........Thanks to everyone for all your lovely comments on my recent cards. Take care .

Flowers Pearls and Lace.......

Hi there!!..... Well here we are THURSDAY again!!...that means it's time for another fab challenge over at CHARISMA CARDZ and this is my DT card for this week.

Our challenge theme this time has been set by Sally and she has chosen

FLOWERS LACE AND PEARLS.

I really enjoyed doing this card , I used Willow with flowers from the WOJ Spring kit and coloured her with my Copics. The papers are all Basic Grey Sultry, I love these papers! The flowers are Poppicraft and I used my lace on the large flower at the bottom. Pearls and brads from stash.

I even managed to do the inside this time too... I left it quite plain on the inside so that I can close it easily.
I am also entering this card in this weeks WOJ challenge which is the Sketch I have used, and the Basic Grey challenge which is be inspired by your fav Ice Cream. Well as you can tell mine is Strawberry mmmmm!!

13 BLUE AND GREEN.....

I liked my last card so much that I did another one in the same colours. It's for an order for a 13th birthday and she loves shopping clothes and shoes and handbags....What 13 year old doesn't?

For this card I used Papermania papers , my nesties and the image is Melanie ....again. I think I'm going to use her quite a lot for teenage cards. I coloured her with Copics and tried to get a denim look to her dress, the picture doesn't show it very well. The shoes are peel offs stuck onto acetate so that I could 3d them, the flowers are from Poppicrafts.

I have another one to do for the same birthday only from her Cousin. Pop back later to see that one. Must go and tidy up the mess I've made now....lol

Tripple challenge card....

Hello everyone hope you're all having a lovely Sunday the sun is shining here for a change although the forecast was for rain. Some day they will get it right...lol.

I'm really pleased as I've managed to cover three challenges with this card today . The first is WOJ which is Friends secondly Dutch Dare which is Blue and White with 1 other colour, I chose Green, and third I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. I really like this one so I will Definitely be using it again.

SUGAR PINK SWEET SIXTEEN....

A friend at work asked me for a card for a Sixteenth birthday so here's what I came up with.

The image is called Melanie but I don't know who makes it as it was in a swap. I coloured it with Copics and it's Pink not orange as it looks in this pic. ...Stupid camera...The papers are from Inspirations and I used 3d stickers bag and shoes from my stash. The swirls were cut on my Robo ( Yey!!! he's working again..) and the sentiment was done on the Computer. It's very sugary but I thought at Sixteen most girls love pink. I hope she does...Thanks for popping in.

Forever Friends 50th

Hi there, this is the only card I've managed to make this weekend as it was my Nephew's wedding yesterday. We had a fabulous day despite the pouring rain...unfortunately all their photos were taken inside but I'm sure they will still be lovely. Now on to my card. I made this for a girl in work she has 4 friends who are 50 this year and this is the first of them. I used FF champagne stamp and mounted it on my oval nesties.The bp is from Pollycraft and silver swirl and pink paper I've had for years, sadly it is now running out :~( the sentiment was done on the computer and mounted onto labels nesties,flower is a combination of prima and poppicrafts. The ribbon is from John Lewis. Hope she likes it.

Charisma Cardz Challenge # 18 My Sketch

Hello everyone. It's my turn this week to set the challenge for Charisma Cardz and I've drawn up a sketch for you to play with.

This is my DT sample for this week. Sorry it's a bit late but I''ve been really busy this week and forgot to post this today. As you can see it's a tall card and I have used my downloads from Cuddly Buddly, coloured of course with my Copics and the papers are Papermania and the card is Basil Basic. Nice and simple 'cause it's a guy card, don't like to make them too fussy. This one is for my Nephew who is 17 at the end of the month, can't believe I'm actually getting organised at last.

I am also entering this card for the Cupcake Craft challenge which this week is a card for a MAN OR A BOY I think this card covers both.

Christenting card for Baby Boy...

Hi hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend, I had a nice one a wee night out on Saturday, quiet day on Sunday and crafting most of the day today.

This card is for a girl in work. Hope she likes it, I used Cuddly Buddly image and Basil Basic blue card. Mounted silver card and dotty paper with an organza ribbon and tied a double bow I also used a new punch I got on Saturday Sunburst by Fiskars. I used my oval nesties and put a little silver cross on which was cut with my Robo and a few flowers.

I spent the whole of Sunday night trying to fix the Robo as it just refused to cut. It's not been working for months and I got mad at it on Sunday and footered about with the settings and Hey presto !!! it cut, so I've now got some swirls and more edgings to play with... Thanks for popping in and listening to my enate drivell.....lol.. I'm off now to make one more card then I'm pulling this craft room apart. Hubby is off all week and is going to move it round for me and hopefully give me more storage.....boy do I need it.. I've got boxes everywhere and can't find anything I'm looking for. Happy crafting....
