Charisma ...Magic Numbers

Hello everyone!, firstly apologies for my post being late, as many of you who are regulars to my blog will know my Mum has been  in hospital for a few months now and was due to come home this week. However  without going into too much detail,  she had a fall and broke her hip on Sunday in the hospital and has had to have a partial Hip Replacement operation, and to top all that she has shingles.  So as you can see I've been busy going up to the hospital and it's been a really upsetting week. It's going to take a long time to get her up on her feet and fit again, but we will take each day as it comes. She has had a really rough time this past few months and is very tired.

I managed to get my card done ahead of time last week but just never had time to post it till now. I hope you have managed to pop over to the Charisma blog and take part in our Magic Numbers challenge. As always we have some fabulous prizes on offer for you.
Here is the recipe for my card.
Image LOTV Rosie with Presents
Paper Dovecraft Glamour prints
Ribbon Wild Orchid Crafts
Nesties
Sentiment and number from stash.

Thanks for popping into my blog today.
In the midst of all our troubles we have something to look forward to . My new little Grand Daughter Niamh is being Christened on Sunday so like all proud Grans I will have some pics to show you sometime next week.
Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing.
HUGS

  1. Hi Vee,
The colours on this card are fabulous and the image is just gorgeous.
I am so sorry to hear about your mum's ongoing problems. the poor dear hasn't had it easy the last few months. I do hope things start to improve soon. You must be so tired with all the travelling back and forward and the long days you must be having. PLease take care and look after yourself.
    Special Hugs,

  2. This card is so sweet. I love it.

Sorry to hear about your mum. Hope she heals quickly and that you are able to take care of yourself. It's so tiring going back and forth to the hospital visiting loved ones but I know that your mum is very happy to see you.

    Hugs, Brenda

  4. Wow! It never rains but it pours! Your poor Mom! I've had shingles and it's not fun at all. I hope she feels much better soon. I love the card you made, love the colours and image - so springy looking. Just what we need to get rid of the winter doldrums.
